Here is a pretty picture of a sunflower bathed in sunlight taken during one of the last wonderful warm fall days. For now it’s only available on Redbubble, but in a large variety of products. From duvet corers, over shirts to what most photographs are made for, wall art.
The funny thing about this particular sunflower is that I never planted or tried to have it in my yard. I put a bird-feeder up this spring, and the seed includes sunflower seeds. In any other year it would have never grown, but been mowed down repeatedly. Only this year our lawnmower broke down. Hence, now I have a sunflower in my backyard. Honestly a nice surprise.

I have no idea what this flower is called, even so I planted it in the pot, but I lost the stick with the name and now I only know it as a pretty flower. Most of the time I have somewhere around 8 cats, sometimes a stray will come and go and the number varies. This is Chat, who decided last year that we are his new family, by simply walking in, sitting down in front of the fridge and meowing so loud he could not be ignored.

To me autumn is a wonderful time, one of color and vibrancy like no other. In a good year, like this one, where days are still war like in summer, this season is my favorite. These trees are from my own property, and now in their colorful dress they are eye-catching.

Here is another photo of trees in autumn, painting our surroundings in colors that will only last of a few days or weeks. There is no greater beauty than nature. At least in my mind.
